Fedica or Updrift for Bluesky?
Fedica took Bluesky seriously early: free scheduling, threads, content labels and follower analysis are all there. Updrift is narrower and measures different things. This is the closest comparison on this site.
When Fedica is right
Fedica is the tool this page finds hardest to argue with. It posts to fifteen networks, Bluesky among them, and its Bluesky support is real rather than a tick in a list: threads, up to ten images, alt text, link cards and content labels are all handled, and scheduling is free with ten posts live at a time. Its follower analysis, on its Grow plan and above, sorts and filters followers by demographics, which Updrift does not attempt. If you want to know who follows you, or to build lists and research accounts, or to post to Mastodon and Threads from the same calendar, pick Fedica.
Where Bluesky is an afterthought, or not
It is not an afterthought at Fedica. The difference is in what each tool measures. Fedica's engagement figures are on its Publish plan and above, and its site says it can pick an optimal time for a post without saying how that time is found. Updrift measures every account's best hours from that account's own posts, shows how each hashtag did against your usual on every plan including Free, and follows each new follower back to the post or starter pack that brought them, with whether they stayed at 14 and 30 days. Updrift also keeps a Bluesky Inbox of replies, mentions, quotes and DMs, reposts your best posts on their own, and can delete a post after a set time. Those matter if Bluesky is the network you work hardest on. Fedica's site does not mention them, and this page would rather say so than guess.

- Pick Fedica if you want follower demographics, research and list building, or one calendar for Bluesky and a dozen other networks, or free scheduling and nothing more.
- Pick Updrift if you want to know what works on your own account: measured best hours, hashtags against your usual, where followers came from, and an Inbox that keeps every reply in view.
