Bluesky for agencies
Five accounts, a writer and an approver, a month loaded in one go, and a report at the end. Studio is £12 a month.
What an agency needs from a Bluesky tool
Several client accounts in one place, each on its own clock. A way for a writer to draft and a lead to approve. Bulk loading, because the month is planned in a spreadsheet. Reports per client and per campaign that a client will read. And nothing that could embarrass a client: no post out of hours, no post without its label, no reply from the wrong account.
Accounts and seats
Studio holds five Bluesky accounts, each connected by its owner through Bluesky's own sign-in, and extra accounts at £2.50 a month. Five seats: a Writer drafts posts and replies and sends them for approval; an Approver says yes or asks for changes and reads Growth; neither touches a setting, billing or the team. The owner does the rest.
A month in one go
Bulk import takes a CSV of posts and a zip of images, checks each row, and schedules them into each account's posting times, at least 45 minutes apart per account. 300 posts can wait per account. A campaign groups a client's launch and reports on it as one thing: reach, engagement, clicks per post through tracked links, and sign-ups where the client's link page is used.
Timing per client
Each account's best hours are measured from its own posts, on its own clock, so a client in Dublin and a client in Denver each post when their own followers are reading. The queue takes the next free hour that works for that account; "keep my week full" fills every free time on Studio.
Reporting
Per account: followers by the hour, growth over 30 days, which posts moved it, engagement received and who spread it, where new followers came from, the What works report over 30, 90 or 365 days. Per campaign: reach, engagement and clicks per post. A morning recap per account for whoever wants it.
Guardrails
- A post from a Writer never goes out without an Approver's yes.
- An account set to label its posts labels every post with an image, whoever wrote it.
- Topics to avoid per account, so nothing off-brand is engaged with.
- Assist is off on every new account and stays off unless the owner switches it on for that account. Agencies mostly leave it off, and nothing in the product nudges a Writer or Approver towards it.
