Just you, and your account

You do not want a dashboard for a job you do not have. You want to know whether your account is growing, which post did it, and when to post the next one. That part is free.

What you get for nothing

Connect one account with Bluesky's own sign-in (your password is never typed here) and Updrift starts measuring. Today shows the day so far; Growth shows the last 30 days and which posts moved it; Reach shows the engagement each post received and who spread it. A short recap arrives each morning, and a weekly line says how the week went against the one before.

What it never does on Free

Nothing. It reads your figures and your notifications to count replies, and that is all. It never likes, follows or posts, and it asks Bluesky for no permission to.

The three things you will notice you cannot see

• The Inbox shows how many replies are waiting, not the replies. Answering them in place is a paid feature.
• What works shows its top line ("posts with an image beat your usual by 1.6×") and not the whole report.
• Your best hours to post are measured but shown on a paid plan.

That is the whole upgrade path. Personal is £2 a month and opens all three for one account. If you never want them, Free stays free.

Reading your own figures

A few habits make the free figures useful. Look once a week, not once an hour. Compare each post with your own usual, not with someone else's. Notice which hours your best posts went out in, and post there next week.
