Publer or Updrift for Bluesky?
Publer is a keenly priced multi-network scheduler that gave Bluesky proper attention: threads, reposts, video, hashtag figures and a free plan. Updrift is only for Bluesky and measures it more closely. Here is where each is stronger.
When Publer is right
If you post to ten networks and want one calendar with bulk scheduling, a recycling feature for old posts, workspaces for clients and approval workflows, Publer does all of that at a price that is easy on a small business. Its Bluesky support is better than most: threads that cross post to X, Threads and Mastodon, reposts and quote posts scheduled in advance, video, alt text, and a hashtag analysis section that ranks how your hashtags perform. Its Free plan takes three social accounts with ten scheduled posts each, and Bluesky is one of the networks the Free plan allows.
Where Bluesky is an afterthought, or not
Publer has not treated Bluesky as an afterthought, so the differences are finer. Its Bluesky page says its analytics can help you identify peak engagement times; how those times are found is not stated on its site, and this page will not guess. Updrift measures each account's best hours from that account's own posts, on its own clock, and shows every hashtag against your usual on every plan including Free. Updrift also follows each new follower back to the post or starter pack that brought them, with whether they stayed at 14 and 30 days, and holds your Bluesky replies, mentions, quotes and DMs in one Inbox, oldest unanswered first. Publer's site does not mention follower sources, a Bluesky inbox or content labels, which matter if you label your posts.
Publer's plan prices are shown on its plans page through a calculator that this comparison could not read as plain figures, so the table sends you there rather than quoting a number.

Who should pick which
- Pick Publer if you post to many networks from one calendar, recycle old posts, or run client workspaces, and you want Bluesky handled well as one of them.
- Pick Updrift if Bluesky is the network you work hardest on and you want its own figures: measured best hours, hashtags against your usual, follower sources with retention, labels and an Inbox.

Does Publer support Bluesky?
Yes. Its Bluesky page says you can schedule text posts, link posts, threads, reposts and quote posts with images and video, and its plans page lists Bluesky accounts on the Free plan.
Does Publer have Bluesky analytics?
Yes. Its site says you can track engagement, follower growth and the performance of your posts and hashtags, with a hashtag analysis section in its Analytics tab.
Can I use both?
Yes. Some people schedule everywhere with Publer and connect the same Bluesky account to Updrift's Free plan for measured best hours, follower sources and the Inbox.
