Bluesky engagement benchmarks by follower count
How much a post gets in its first day depends most on how many followers the account has. These are the figures at each size, so you can see where your own posts sit.
The sample
Too few accounts yet
The benchmark table is published once at least 200 accounts are behind it, with 30 or more behind every figure shown. The totals have not been built yet. Every account connected to Updrift, the Free plan included, adds to the sample; connect yours and it counts from its first measured post.
Reading it
A post's first day is the only figure comparable across posts, which is why Updrift measures it and why the engagement-rate guide works from it. See where your own posts sit with the free stats, and read the growth guide for what moves a band.
Questions
What counts as engagement here?
Likes, reposts, replies and quotes in the post's first 24 hours, added together. Lifetime totals are left out because an old post has had months to collect them.
Is a post above the median a good post?
Above the median for its band, yes; it did better than half the posts from accounts of that size. The benchmark says nothing about whether it was good for you: compare it with your own usual on Growth.
Where does my account sit?
Connect it free and Growth shows each post's first day per thousand followers, against your own usual and against its band.
