A free link page for your Bluesky bio
Your Bluesky bio has room for one link. Make it a page on updrift.link with all of them, and see which one people actually click. Free, for good.
What it looks like
Alpha Studio @alpha.bsky.social
Potter and glaze tinkerer. New pieces every Friday.
- Newsletter
- Shop the autumn glazes
- Workshop dates
updrift.link/alpha. Your avatar and name come from Bluesky and stay in step with it.
What you get, free
Up to 20 links
Your shop, your newsletter, your other profiles, the thing you are launching this week, in the order you choose.
A click count per link
In all and in the last 30 days, so you know which link earns its place and which one nobody opens.
Your own short address
Your handle works from the start. A short name of your own reads better in a bio and on a slide.
A content notice when you need one
For accounts that label their posts: a notice before the links, and the page kept out of search.
A bio line of up to 160 characters sits under your name. There are no adverts on the page and nothing on it but your links and a small line saying it was made with Updrift.
Set it up in a minute
- Sign up free and connect your Bluesky account on Bluesky's own sign-in. Your password is never typed here. Not on Bluesky? Choose Just make a link page instead.
- Open Grow, then Link page: add your links, a bio line and, if you like, a short name. Without Bluesky, add a name and a picture too.
- Put the address in your Bluesky bio. The clicks start counting from the first visitor.
Why a page rather than a link
A Bluesky bio holds one link comfortably, and a post can carry one link card. Anyone with more than one thing to point at ends up choosing, or pasting a list nobody reads. A page holds them all, and the click counts tell you which to keep at the top. The link in bio guide covers what to put on it.
What a paid plan adds
The free page counts clicks per link. On a paid plan, from £4 a month and 7 days free, the links inside your posts are tracked too, so you can see which post sent people to your shop, and a campaign can have a link of its own. The free stats come with the page either way. See the plans.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The link page comes with the Free plan, with no card and no trial. It stays up for as long as you keep it on.
Do I need a Bluesky account?
No. Without one, give the page a name, a picture and an address of your own. With one, the page is linked to it: your name and picture come from Bluesky, and your handle is an address too. Connect an account later and you can link the page to it, or unlink a page to keep it if you leave Bluesky.
What address does it get?
Your Bluesky handle, as updrift.link/yourname.bsky.social, or a short name of your own between 3 and 30 letters and numbers, like updrift.link/yourname. Give a name up and visitors are sent on to your page for 30 days.
Does it track my visitors?
It counts clicks: when, a rough country and the site they came from. It never records a visitor's IP address or who they are, and sets no cookies on them.
What if my posts carry a content label?
Mark the page sensitive. Visitors then see a notice first and the links only once they choose to go on, and the page is kept out of search engines.
